CuTex - Taylor Wimpey
PBA Solutions was contracted by a developer to deal with a large infestation of Japanese knotweed that was close to a boundary line, preventing groundworks and construction in the site area. Choosing CuTex for the installation created a reliable barrier against the Japanese knotweed, while allowing for moisture delivery to tree roots and preventing water logging in the soil.
FlexiRoot - Domestic Garden
Our FlexiRoot barrier has a market leading puncture resistance of 5502 newtons, yet it is flexible making it easy to install when planting new Bamboo. Furthermore, you can retro fit FlexiRoot around established Bamboo removing runners that have already extended further than the location of the root barrier.

PCA Guidance Note
Root barriers act as a physical barrier to root growth and are often specified and used to stop invasive weed species, including Japanese knotweed, growing from one location into an area which needs to be protected. The objective of using a root barrier is to segregate land impacted by Japanese knotweed from that which is free of Japanese knotweed rhizome.
